Welcome

Facilitated by The National Christian Foundation – www.NationalChristian.com – a Generosity Council is a group of people in a community who are passionate about generosity and want to encourage each other, get equipped to share with their peers, and be more intentional about seeking God’s will about why they have been blessed with much. This group will meet together (typically four times a year) to share ideas, encourage, and inspire each other and to discuss how to expand generosity in others.

Are you are a person of influence and affluence who has a passion for generosity but haven’t found a safe environment where you can be encouraged and equipped to leverage your influence by sharing this passion with others?

You’re busy. You don’t want another mundane commitment that may or may not bear fruit, but you do want to maximize your time and the gifts God has given you. The Generosity Council is a gathering of like-minded people who want to impact their community and the world through giving.

Benefits and goals for Generosity Councils, the community, and The National Christian Foundation:

  • Elevate awareness of Biblical generosity in the community
  • Deepen relationships and cooperation between Christian givers
  • Host events that challenge members of the local community in becoming more Christ like
  • Impact more dollars going to Kingdom causes
  • Identify and engage more givers to give more than they have ever given before – impacting the world around them (goal of 20-40 per year for each Generosity Council)
  • Help develop and utilize the skills, passion, and relationships of Generosity Champions
  • Move forward The National Christian Foundation’s Mission in a leveraged way, scaling our message and activities in a cost effective manner
  • Develop an improved way to launch The National Christian Foundation Local Offices with a high probability of success

What is the potential impact?

Cities that have started Generosity Councils have shown extremely positive results. People are enjoying the time together and are inviting their friends. We are seeing new givers join the movement, leading to increases in both cash- and asset-based giving. Most importantly, we are seeing a renewed spirit of people turning to God in this area of money and generosity that has totally impacted the way they live their life for Christ. These are exciting goals!
